Comparing Three Temporary Power Systems on a Live DPR Jobsite
The pilot was conducted at a 24/7 guard shack on an active DPR jobsite in the Southwestern U.S. Over the course of a year, three different power systems were deployed, monitored, and evaluated:
- A 20 kW diesel generator paired with a 30 kVA / 90 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS)
- A 60 kVA hybrid unit with a 75 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery
- ANA’s EBOSS® 25-25 Hybrid Generator, which combines a 20 kVA engine and a 15 kWh Lithium Titanium Oxide (LTO) battery
